The Great Beyond

The pursuit of the beyond, is just an advertising scheme? No. There is a real tangible world beyond our narrow scope that we must reach off at. But this illusion, that at the same time that we are reaching beyond, we are founded in our supposed well-founded principles, that may have just come off the side of a lunch box. But that’s all they need to be from, in taking pleasure in the absurd and in going beyond principles and beyond moral embodiment to the realm of style. You see…you’ll have millions of well-off people tell you that design, and art and communication are all about principles and rules. They are sound sciences built on millennia of psychology, economics, and biology studies, but why does an artist who has never studied any of this, just get it? Jackson Pollock, Van Gogh, Pablo Paccasso. The big names, none of em messed with that stuff, they just had style. They had two things: vision and execution. but style is not those two things it is more ellusive, and cannot be captured in a reflective descriptive objective textual analysis. It goes to a New Yorker article describing the disappearing pheasant, an ever shifting unknown essence of being, that you can chase after but never quite get a hold on. Of course, I can not for the life of me find the magazine this article is in. But the point is to go beyond the principles and text and reflections and turn towards the outside world with open arms or a thoughtful soft gaze. Be forgiving, connect with a friend, and get outta this digital desert and back into the great beyond.
