2. The Belly of the Beast

“Brushfire: Episode II” takes on a dramatically different tone than that of its predecessor.  Both stories force our characters to navigate mature and complex moral thought experiments, and hostile environments shaped by human influence. The ocean is of central importance when it comes to the impacts of carbon emissions on the Earth’s climate and its role as a buffer against the rising temperatures gives it a reverance that is felt by the characters in this story.

Two paths diverge, with routine scroungers venturing into the sea at night, and a weary despeate traveler forced to travel by day. What are their motivations? and What dangers…(or treasures) await them…?
